SURō (meaning 'slow' in Japanese) was born from the idea of slower living — encouraging you to embrace a purposeful lifestyle by creating a space for you to slow down and reclaim your time.

MEET US

We, Joanne and Chrissy, have founded Made By Suro from our love of candles. Not only do they smell amazing, they have helped us reflect on what is important and to slow down from our busy lives. It has made such a positive impact in our everyday lives and we hope it does the same for you!

CANDLES

The foundation of our candle-making process is one that is mindful and thoughtful; to create a sensory experience with minimal impact to the environment. 

Our candles are locally hand poured in Brisbane, Australia. They are poured in small batches, using 100% natural soy wax to beautifully blend with premium fragrance oils. We are cruelty-free, phthalate-free and 100% vegan. We strive to use recyclable/sustainable packaging and our candle vessels can be reused or returned to us for refill at 10% off (pick-up orders only).
